Coral Acclimation Guide
Salty Reefs LLC - Coral Acclimation Guide
Proper acclimation ensures your coral transitions safely.
1. Temperature Acclimation (10-15 min)
Float the sealed bag in your tank.
2. Water Acclimation (15-30 min)
Add small amounts of tank water every 5 minutes.
3. Coral Dip (Optional)
Use a coral dip such as:
- Reef Primer
- Coral RX
Follow instructions carefully.
4. Placement
Start coral in low light and low flow, then move gradually.
5. Monitor
Watch for:
- Polyp extension
- Tissue recession
- Color changes
